Map of the Unified Territories of the Imperial Dynasty
5.皇朝壹統輿地全圖(局部)jpg (1).jpg

This map is named "Map of the Unified Territory of the Imperial Dynasty". The map is quite large and is divided into eight scrolls for storage. The portion displayed in this exhibition pertains to Taiwan. The map was created using a combination of traditional calculating and drawing methods along with the introduction of Western-style latitude and longitude lines.

Based on the geographical information, it can be inferred that this map was created after the establishment of the Gāmǎlán Ting in 1810. By comparing it with similar existing maps, it is evident that this map may have some connection with the " Map of the Unified Interior and Exterior of the Imperial Dynasty" published during the mid-19th century.
