本作繪於湯川秀樹28歲（1936年）之時，是其青年時期少見且具明確年代的畫作，當時他正投入介子理論研究。畫面以近景構圖呈現土坡、茅屋與遠山，整體筆觸輕盈，具速寫般的即興感。

【Description】
Created in 1936, when Hideki Yukawa was twenty-eight, this work is a rare and securely dated painting from his early years. At the time, Hideki Yukawa was deeply engaged in developing meson theory. The close-up composition depicts an earthen slope, thatched huts, and distant hills, rendered with light, fluid strokes that convey the immediacy of a sketch.
