岸遠沙平，日斜歸路晚霞明，孔雀自憐金翠尾，臨水，認得行人驚不起。

商衍鎏，字藻亭，號又章、冕臣，晚號康樂老人。文采出眾，為中國末代科舉探花，授翰林院编修職務，並被清廷派往日本東京法政大學留學(1906-1908)，後任翰林侍講銜撰文，國史館協修等職。1912年受聘於德國漢堡殖民學院擔任研究助理，參與德國第一間漢學研究中心的建立；1949年後則任職江蘇省文史研究館、中央文史研究館等文史機構。

商衍鎏是當時代著名學者與書法家，此件作品內容出自花間派詞人歐陽炯(896-971)所作的詠暮名句，從鈐印中「甲辰探花」可知，應為科舉(1904)後的作品。

​【Description】

​

Shang Yanliu, courtesy name Zaoting, style name Youzhang, etc., was a distinguished scholar and the last Tanhua of the imperial exams. He later studied at Hosei University in Tokyo and held various positions including Hanlin Academy compiler and National History Museum associate. In 1912, he contributed as a research assistant to Germany's first Sinology center at the Hamburg Colonial Institute. After 1949, he worked with the Jiangsu Provincial Literary and Historical Research Institute and the Central Literary and Historical Research Institute.

Shang Yanliu was a renowned scholar and calligrapher, this piece features lines from Ouyang Jiong (896-971) and bears the seal "Jiachen Tanhua," indicating it was created after his 1904 exam success.
