鄉飲酒禮中被選為「鄉飲賓」之人，通常都是年高德劭、在地方上有仁義之舉的人。在獲選之後，可獲得朝廷賞給的頂戴，而地方官通常會向獲選之人報喜，並且致贈匾額慶賀。

本件上雖然有「執照」二字，但與一般所見的執照文物不同，內文中並無公文語句呈現審核過程，且全件以紅紙為底，充滿喜慶之感，較似獲選鄉飲賓後，地方官的道喜賀柬；也可能是地方官贈匾的內容，並非典型的官方執照。

【Description】

 

In the Xiang Yin Ceremony, individuals chosen as "Xiang Yin Bin" were typically esteemed elders known for their virtuous actions and moral integrity within the community. Upon selection, these individuals would receive a court-bestowed headdress. The local officials would often personally convey the joyous news to the selected individuals and present them with a congratulatory gazette.
