Letter from Dong Zuo-bin to Fu Si-nian and Li Ji

（右頁）（前頁：明日定工人單，長工就舊工人中選四五人，短）工暫用二十人，先作B區南坐及黃土台下，逐漸南北開展，此與E區連接，南則連接去舂一夯土台子。容有所得時奉聞。便橋，水大不能搭，利少俟歲曰。現走秒殿門口一橋，每次多走二里地耳。先此奉聞。即頌撰安！弟作賓。廿一，十，廿二晚。遵古齋介紹一個素銅鼎（高七八寸，徑五六寸），一個瞿，一個戈，皆出小屯西八里處，戈上有「」（甲骨文羊）字，橫書，可証吾們一戈上字為「弟」字。共索滋六七十元，本所可購否？
（左頁）濟之兄：快函收到。於明日往六河溝一行。工作暫不做，E區修七畝地肅清，B區做南欣、填中欣、北欣。兩三日來無甚發現，今日得一蚌飾，酷似青天白日徽章，作形。又得陶器似（南瓦）而殘，作6形，亦新樣子。李春汀買的造像拓本，送兄一份，付呈。此不經遵古齋賣與老明，價十元，恐時出（下頁：國也）。
The two pages of the letter on display, written by Dong Zuo-bin in 1932 during the seventh excavation at the Yin Ruins. The letters were addressed to Fu Si-nian and Li Ji, reporting on the progress of the archaeological work. The letter dated October 22 clearly reflects the meticulous and arduous nature of the excavation process. The letter dated October 26 records some of the unique artifacts and pottery unearthed during that time, with simple drawings of the objects included, making it of great historical value.

展出的兩頁信札出自1932年，董作賓在殷墟第七次發掘期間，寫給傅斯年與李濟的工作進度報告。10月22日的信函呈現出考古工作的嚴謹艱苦。10月26日的信中，清楚記錄了當時出土的特殊飾品與陶器，還畫出樣式，極具歷史價值。
