為妥善規劃文物館籌建事宜，舉辦「國立清華大學文物館籌建先期規劃」公聽會，由黃聲遠建築師與師生溝通。
The "Preliminary Planning Public Hearing for the National Tsing Hua University Museum" was held on October 9, 2018, where architect Huang Sheng-yuan engaged in discussions with faculty and students.

為了妥善保存受贈文物，文物館籌備處馬孟晶主任（時任）率團考察臺灣歷史博物館與創價美術館（新竹）的文物典藏設備。
Prof. Ma Meng-ching, the first Director of the Preparatory Office of the Museum led a team to visit the National Museum of Taiwan History and the Soka Art Museum (Hsinchu) to study artifact conservation facilities.
