The exhibitions at the Jie Ying Heritage Museum focus on cultural interactions within the modern historical context of the East Asian Sinitic cultural sphere, with its roots in National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, and Taiwan, while highlighting local values and connections. Since the establishment of the Preparatory Office, the NTHU Heritage Museum, temporarily stationed in the Library, has hosted, in the exhibition hall of Macronix Building, 12 major exhibitions, 8 mini-exhibitions, co-organized 6 exhibitions with related institutions, and published 5 catalogues of its collection.

In the first phase of this exhibition, calligraphy, paintings, and letters by distinguished Tsing Hua alumni and former professors are showcased. These culturally rich works reflect Tsing Hua’s strong foundations in traditional Chinese learning and embody the deep affection of alumni, faculty, and students for their alma mater.

The second phase broadens the curatorial lens by presenting representative objects from past exhibitions, offering a retrospective journey through the museum’s eight years of curatorial practice. These works span diverse themes, including East Asian cultural exchange, local development in Tsing Hua and Hsinchu, wartime histories, and historical transformations, revealing the depth and scope of the museum’s collection. This section also features audience-selected favorites from the first phase, based on public voting. Bridging the familiar and the newly discovered, the exhibition invites viewers to witness the museum’s ongoing evolution and transformation.
