In 2022, the exhibition The Powerful Current Rising From the End of the Brush — A Collection of Taiwan’s New Nativist Calligraphy featured seven prominent artists and was widely acclaimed. Following the exhibition, an exhibition catalog was published to further promote the idea of “New Local Culture.” This calligraphic piece is the original inscription created by ink painter Ho Huai-shuo (b. 1941) for the book’s cover title.
